Shopping on Listed Treasures

  • How can I make sure I’m “in the know” for upcoming sales and pickup dates?
    We always post our upcoming sale and pickup schedule on Facebook – please follow us! We also always include the pickup date on the sale page. If you want to really be “in the know,” sign up for our Insider’s Circle email list and our text notifications. We’ll email you when sales go live, and text you every time we post a new sale and when we discount prices!
  • Something I really want is sold out. Is there a waiting list?
    We don’t have a waiting list. But if you want to make sure you are first to shop a sale, make sure to sign up for text notifications here and we’ll text you as soon as a new sale is up on the site!

Picking Up Your Purchases

  • When can I pickup my item?
    Congrats! You bought something great on Listed Treasures. You’re going to receive an emailed receipt, confirming your purchase. We always publish the pickup date at the top of the sale web page and on our Facebook page. The day before the pickup date, you’ll get an emailed set of instructions on pickup location, with a SignUpGenius link. (If using your phone, be sure to click “See Full Description” to see the address.) There, you can sign up for a pick up time slot. Look out for this! Sometimes it ends up in Spam folders. The exact address will be sent via email the morning of the pickup (this is to protect the privacy of our clients!).
  • What do I bring to pickup?
    If you’ve purchased a larger item, or a piece of furniture, you’ll want to bring a large vehicle and a friend to help you carry the item to your car. Our Listed Treasures employees are strong women, but they don’t do heavy lifting! You may also need to bring tools to disassemble certain items to get them to fit into your vehicle. Consider bringing a set of screwdrivers and wrenches.
  • Do I need to bring a truck?
    If you purchased a large piece of furniture, yes, please bring a truck! King beds don’t fit in Camrys, no matter how hard you try, and we pay our team by the hour!
  • When are pickups?
    Weekday pickups start at 5 p.m. Saturdays start at 10 a.m., and Sunday pickups are at 1 p.m.
  • Why is the pickup window so short?
    We keep our pick-up times firm to help control labor costs. Another reason we limit the pick-up window to an hour is to minimize sale impacts on the home owners. Our process is efficient and we pass our savings on to you!
  • I can’t make it on the pickup date. Can we reschedule?
    Sorry, we can’t. The good news is we deliver small items for a $7 fee, and we work with Bungii, a delivery service to get you the larger items you want, but can’t pick up yourself.
  • What does $7 delivery cover?
    Items that are small (can be carried by one person in one hand) delivered to the Vienna, Oakton, Fairfax, Annandale, Burke, Springfield area. 3-4 small items would qualify for the $7 fee. For a complete list of zip codes in our delivery zone, click here.
  • How can I know my stuff will be safe?
    Listed Treasures makes every effort to ensure the safety of all purchased pieces.
  • Do I need to be at pickup?
    You don’t! You can arrange for a friend to pick up your pieces. Or, you can arrange for us to deliver your small pieces for a $7 fee, or use Bungii to deliver your larger pieces.
  • Why do you charge a holding fee?
    A few reasons! We are usually working under strict deadlines to clear out a home; it’s very important to our clients’ timeline that the items are picked up by the pickup date. Also, Listed Treasures does not have a warehouse, and so we have very limited storage space. The fee helps to cover the additional storage and administrative costs for holding on to your purchases.
